Scope and estimates
Work is limited to the written estimate or later written change approval. Estimates are based on available evidence and are not fixed-price guarantees unless explicitly stated. Material overages require client approval.
Client authorization
The client confirms the right to provide the project, code, content, and access needed for the work. The client remains responsible for backups and for reviewing the result before relying on it in production.
Payment and cancellation
A 50 percent deposit follows estimate approval. If work is canceled after it starts, prepaid funds are applied to actual time worked and any unused balance is refunded. The completion balance is due when the approved work is delivered.
Ownership and third-party components
After payment, the client owns the project-specific repair work. Existing open-source, platform, licensed, and pre-existing tools remain subject to their own terms.
No third-party guarantees
Search rankings, email delivery, payment providers, hosting platforms, AI builders, and other third-party services remain outside direct control and may change.
Liability and governing law
Liability is limited to a reasonable amount connected to the approved work to the extent permitted by law. Governing law is configured as: As stated in the accepted written project estimate. Review this clause with qualified counsel as part of the business’s normal legal review.
